Hunter education is offered at many California Waterfowl events, including Camp Sprig, Waterfowl 101 and some BOW events. Since a few of our programs that offer hunter education have been cancelled or postponed for the time being, we want to help you get a head start on your learning so you’re prepared when you finally get to camp!
On this page, you will find links to a FREE online hunter education study guide with review sheets. It’s worth repeating: YOU DO NOT HAVE TO PAY to take any online courses.
When you click on the link to each chapter, you will be taken to the first topic of that chapter, at the bottom of each page there is a ‘next’ button that will take you to the next page or topic. Be sure to look over all of the topics before doing the reviews! Some worksheets require access to the outdoors, but others can be done in the home, so please be sure to comply with any orders in place in your area.
Have questions about any of the materials? Please email Hunting and Education Programs Supervisor Jeff Smith.
