We envision a California where wetlands teem with wildlife, waterfowl thrill us with breathtaking abundance and hunters are a respected force for conservation and sustainability.Learn More
California has lost as much as 95% of its historic wetlands. CWA works to restore wetlands, and to maximize the food and habitat value of existing wetlands for both local breeding populations and migratory waterfowl.
Hunters are the driving force for wetland conservation. CWA works to ensure that Californians have adequate access to hunting lands, and that regulations and laws don’t stifle responsible, ethical hunting.
California Waterfowl offers a variety of ways for people to volunteer for waterfowl, from wood duck nest-box projects for the whole family to hands-on educational programs to fundraising events.
