Waterfowl. Wetlands. Hunting.

"A California with abundant waterfowl, vibrant wetlands, and thriving hunting communities."

Discover how California Waterfowl’s continued commitment makes an impact!

For 80 years, California Waterfowl (CWA) has been a steadfast advocate for California’s waterfowl hunters and a champion for the natural resources that make hunting possible. Through our dedication to Hunting, Education, Advocacy, Wetlands, and Waterfowl—our 5 Pillars—we continue to protect the future of hunting and conservation for generations to come.

MALLARD EGG SALVAGE

Farmers who enroll in the program allow us to sweep their fields for nests before harvest, or provide us with cartons to collect eggs as they harvest. We then take the eggs to permitted hatcheries.

INCENTIVE PROGRAMS

Now that Nesting Bird Habitat Incentive Program is funded through the California Department of Fish and Wildlife, California Waterfowl will be assisting the Department with implementation of the program.
