This is a California Waterfowl-owned property in the famed Suisun Marsh, bordering Grizzly Island Wildlife Area. Grizzly Ranch is over 900 acres and the wetlands are managed by CWA biologists. Decoys and transportation to and from the blinds is provided.

The hunt is $150-225 per blind selected. The registrant can hunt alone or invite guests to fill the empty seats. Guests do not pay a hunter access fee. Blinds are offered in two-man and three-man.

Capacity: Two-three hunters (depends on blind availability)

Special conditions: May only register for one hunt date per person, per hunting season.

GOOSE LAKE

Application type: First Come First Served

CWA’s Goose Lake property located just south of Lost Hills, CA consists of 2,175 acres of total habitat. Known for its stellar dove hunts, participants will be allowed to hunt over different upland food/hunting plots. During the September dove season, swarms of dove utilize the safflower food plots, wheat fields, eucalyptus tree lines, upland habitat, and water in the canal lines. 8 groups will be available each hunt day.

Capacity: Two hunters per group

OBANION ROAD RICE BLIND

Application type: First-come, first-served (youth free)

Cost: $25 per adult

Hunt a four man rice blind south east  of the Sutter National Wildlife Refuge. Stools and decoys are provided.

Capacity: Four hunters

SUTTER BYPASS RICE BLIND/DNH FARMS

Application type: First-come, first-served (youth free)

Cost: $25 per hunter

At least one member of the hunting party must be a junior, veteran or woman. May only register for one date per family. May hunt all day. DNH Farms has donated a rice blind near Robbins, in the Sutter Bypass, specifically for families, veterans and women. These hunts are unguided in a fully furnished rice blind. Hunters will be in charge of getting themselves to the blind (stools and decoys are provided). Youth hunters need to be accompanied by an adult chaperone (21 or older). There is a $25 fee per person (youth are free) to reserve a date and attend.

SOHNREY FAMILY FOODS RICE BLIND

Cost: Free

Must be a youth or veteran to register. Sohnrey Family Foods has donated a rice blind off Highway 99 and Nelson Shippee Road specifically for families and veterans. These hunts are unguided in a fully furnished rice blind. Hunters will be in charge of getting themselves to the blind (stools and decoys are provided). Youth hunters need to be accompanied by an adult  chaperone (21 or older). There is no fee to reserve a date or attend.
