Registration opens July 2020.  Deposit option available now!

Spend an exciting three days in beautiful Quincy learning to fly fish at Greenhorn Creek Guest Ranch. BOW is partnering with Feather River Fly Fishing School to make a workshop designed for all levels, and all equipment is available for those who don’t already have their own. This comprehensive workshop covers all of the basics of fly fishing: casting, reading the water, entomology, conservation, fly tying, knots, landing and releasing, and plenty of hands-on practice. A beautiful outdoor setting makes this workshop a can’t-miss opportunity.

Greenhorn Creek Guest Ranch is located in beautiful Plumas County between the historical towns of Graeagle and Quincy, just 70 miles from the Reno/Tahoe International Airport. The ranch is also just miles from the scenic Feather River Canyon and the most rugged trans-Sierra railroad line in California. This is truly a Western paradise for people who love horseback riding, fishing, swimming, hiking, mountain biking, fresh mountain air, blue skies, spectacular views, starry nights and unconditional relaxation!

Cost: $800 and includes:

  • single occupancy queen/king room for two nights in the Lodge
  • Gear rentals and all professional instruction (tips not included)
  • 6 delicious meals and non-alcoholic beverages
  • One year membership in CWA (adds a year to current members)
  • Door prizes and giveaways

New this year: This fall clinic is likely to be chilly, keep that in mind when packing!

Cancellation: $780 refund if we can fill your spot (cost of camp minus $20 cancellation fee); no refund if you cancel too late for us to fill the spot. Participant retains membership benefit in the event of cancellation.
