2007 CWA YOUTH CAMP PROGRAMS

There will be a great many opportunities for youths to spend time in the outdoors with California Waterfowl Association during 2007. CWA Outdoor Adventure Camps and multi-day Waterfowler camps will be coming to a location near you. Flexibility and accessibility make these programs dynamic and exciting opportunities to develop youth in the outdoors. Youth Hunter camps involve 2 to 4 days of hunter’s certification, waterfowl conservation, waterfowl hunting and much more to get youths ready to go waterfowling.
• Llano Seco Duck Club – February 2/4
• Mystic Lake Duck Club (near San Jacinto NWR) – March 31/April 1
• Rancho Esquon (near Chico) – May 18/20
• Turks Station (Coalinga) – June 19/23
• Turks Station Advanced Hunter Camp (Coalinga) – June 26/30
• Mandeville Island – July 20/22
• Mandeville Island Advanced Hunter Camp – July 27/29
• Conaway Ranch – August 3/5
• Black Point – September 8/9

Outdoor Adventure Camps are one day events designed to introduce youths to outdoor recreational opportunities and conservation including archery, fly fishing, clay target shooting, wetlands, waterfowl and much more.
• Kern County Gun Club – April 14
• Modesto Properties – April 29
• Humboldt NWR – August 25

Shooting days and clinics are events designed for youths to improve their shooting skills in rifle, shotgun and archery.
• Rancho Cordova Shooting Clinic – March 10
• Birds Landing Carnival of Shooting Games (Adults & Youths) – June 9
• Birds Landing ‘Clays for Kids day’ – June 10
