California Waterfowl Camp Program Wins Prestigious Award
California Waterfowl Youth Camp Coordinator George Oberstadt was recently recognized by the California Department of Fish and Game with the prestigious Director’s Achievement Award for his work to develop youth hunter camps that make a difference in the lives of hundreds of youth each year in California.

About CWA's Youth Camps Program
CWA's Approach
Provide a flexible and accessible youth camp program to develop life-long connections and interests in outdoor recreation and wildlife. CWA has partnered with duck clubs, shooting ranges, wildlife refuges and passionate volunteers throughout the state to create a plethora of youth oriented events. There are events designed to introduce new hunters to hunting as well as continue the development of hunting skills after you have your hunting license. CWA actively supports your waterfowl hunting heritage!
